Hmmmm, that one has you thinking, LOL. What is about you that makes you a good writer, I don't mean you have to have had a thousand publications with stunning reviews, but good in that you are committed to being a writer and getting quality for people to read.

What are the things that drive you to keep going?

For me I think I like my dedication to always learn more about the craft and to study any feedback to see if I am hitting the spot in reader reaction to characters etc. It seems very important it comes off as intended, the funny is funny, the drama is nailbiting, the characters are sticky. I like to create a reaction in readers. Then I know my characters are doing their job.

I like how I'm always striving to write something better than the last but I don't sweat over my first as crap, I accept it as the very best work I could do at the time and my earlier works stand as a monument to the process of learning and improving, and actually, they aren't so bad LOL.

Anyone else, time for a little self praise, I think we are quick to be hard on ourselves as writers, let's get a bit of feelgood going....
