My Carina Press books (Fight or Flight, Behind the Scenes, and Acceptable Risks) often get labeled romantic suspense, but I prefer to stuck them in the romantic adventure category because they are more about excitement than fear. There's no serial killer and dark terror, just kick-ass men and women fighting to save people they love and sometimes, the world at large.
Which type do you prefer, and who are some of your favorite authors in the genres?
I love Suzanne Brockmann and Roxanne St. Claire, and just picked up Deadly Secrets, Loving Lies by Cynthia Cooke because I saw a short excerpt on a blog and was immediately hooked. That doesn't happen often!
