Between reoccurring nightmares of the 1967 Silver Bridge collapsed, grisly murders, and strange sightings of a winged/bat/rat, Sheriff James Connor, has a panic on his hands in a small southeastern county.

This story stars the Mothman, and is a part of "Loves', Myths', and Monsters'," due out March 2014.

Autumn leaves turn to brown.
Dried and brittle, like unfound promises.
Scratching for new life,
amongst a world of turmoil.
Its inner strength consumed.
As if drained by the jealous sun.
Does it beg for the solitude of a peaceful mind,
or lust for rain it solely deserves, but denied?
