For teenage mermaid Constance, coming to the quaint sea side town of Willowick, was heavenly, until she falls for a mortal boy. Her life is turned upside down when she is forced into a deadly showdown with fellow mermaids, to save Willowick and the man she loves.
I only wished to be alone.
So I ignored you when you called my name.
I’m through with all your lies.
Nothing left now but goodbyes.
Even in my wildest dreams,
I never wanted to believe,
that my mother was right, when she
called you evil and mean.
I ignored your phone calls,
Every day and night.
We cant even talk civil anymore,
fore all you do is criticize and fight.
But little did I then know,
that you would never leave me alone.
For what I wanted for us,
is no longer a beauty-but hate, anger and disgust.
You first treated me like a delicate flower.
Your love so precious and respectful.
Then your true colors protruded.
A combination of disgrace, deceit and crudeness.
We cant even be friends now.
I still see your evil smile.
Its embedded in my dreams.
Along with your rude jokes and childish schemes.
You had me fooled.
Your deception bold and cunning.
Going on for miles and miles.
Taking my respect, trust and power.
Your wicked smile, the devil's laugh.
Still fresh in my memory
as you smirked at my helplessness.
But that was your end.
Your moral pain-a lose of dignity.
My glory-saying the truth unsaid.
That life's a wonder.
Always a second chance.
By my courage-not by your hunger undignified.
I have the right to live.
So I choose survival.
My days of despair
are now, forever gone.
So I bade my nightmares
a silent goodbye.
