The hiccup with the editing forced a decision on me when the publication date drew near, putting pressure on both my editor and me. In the end I chose to delay the release of "The Sapphire Sea" until November 1st rather than see it published with the editing and the errata rushed, as happened with"Coasting".
I was fortunate that Kim Richards gave me the choice.
I'm working my way back into my current WIP, "A Maritime Tragedy" and trying to ignore the ongoing pain of my post shingle neuralgia, thankful that there are small signs that the nerves in my left arm and hand are healing themselves.
I would feel weak to complain about my situation. Too many of my contemporaries have much more serious ailments.
