Hi, everyone. I'm an author, but I'm also a reader, and I usually read the type of books I write. Let's hear it for romance novels! They've changed so much since my grandmother's day, mostly in the way the heroines are written. Women no longer wait for a big manly man to rescue them or whisk them away to a mythical life of leisure. Women are strong, smart and kick-ass, and plenty of men think that's pretty sexy. Women also are taking charge in the bedroom as well as in the boardroom. What kind of heroines do you like to read about? Is there a particular profession you've yet to see in a romance novel that you'd like to advocate for? What about the guys? Do you like cowboys, cops, athletes, military men, corporate types, blue-collar workers, firefighters, rogues? Something else? I'd love to hear what you think.
