    Lightbulb Types of eBook Readers

Susan, Can you tell me what all types of eBook readers there are? It is hard to make decisions because I can't find all of them. I am sure I am not the only one!

So tell us ..oh mighty one!
I smile because I have no idea what is going on.

    Wink Hello

That is a great question, Karenne, I, too, am dumbfounded when it comes to choosing any of those. Every time I need my last boss's address, she will say I told you that you need a pda, like I know all that stuff too. I am just now getting use to my laptop.

    Default Types of ebook readers

*waves* Hi all, Its late for me so I will have to go in to more depth tomorrow. However, as a quick overview there are several types of ebook readers. I prefer PDA's for reasons I will go into more depth with tomorrow, mainly because they are multi function and easy to use for the most part. Some people prefer dedicated ebook readers, as many of them have a larger screen, usually about the size of a mass market paperback. (Dedicated readers are devices that only do one thing, read ebooks, and usually only in one particular format.) Tomorrow I will provide you guys with some links to different types of readers and some more detailed info on the pros and cons of some of them.... so stay tuned!
    Have a good night!

Ok sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Here are a few links that may help with learning about ebook readers. As I stated before, I prefer PDA's but that's because most of them are multi function. They will allow you to play games, take notes, keep addesses and phone numbers, keep track of your calendar, store directions to places, and many other functions However, some dedicated ebook readers (devices that only read ebooks) have larger screens. Check out these links and I will post some more info here soon.

I can see from some of these sites that they can still look a bit intimidating. Stay tuned for some more information but please post any specific questions you have and I will try to find the answer.
