Welcome to my new home at the Coffee Time Romance Forum.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Ingela F. Hyatt, and I'm passionate about historical romance. My debut erotic historical romance, A Knight of Passion, was recently released by Samhain Publishing. And I'm ecstatic to report it has received rave reviews... The most recent from Coffee Time Romance's very own Wateena. She gave me a five cup review!
"Absolutely stupendous! Ms. Hyatt has penned a fabulous tale with exciting adventure, dangerous intrigue, and steamy love scenes. Everything you want in a historical, you will find in A Knight of Passion. Never a dull moment, this story will keep you ensnared from the beginning, with the animated action of daring swordfights, engaging dialogue, and scorching sex scenes. Ms. Hyatt has left nothing out of this extraordinary tale. For all you historical lovers, this is a must read."
Thank you Wateena! I'm so glad you loved the book.

Did you know it took me seven years, nine manuscripts and 128 rejections to achieve my dream of being a published author? Yup, it's been a long and arduous journey, and I couldn't have survived it without the wonderful support of my family. It just goes to show that dreams can come true.
So what's in store for me now?
Well I'm working on the finishing touches of my next novel, the first book in my new Robin Hood series - The Sherwood Chronicles. I'm very excited about this project as there will be three additional books to follow. But I must warn you, my Robin Hood is not your typical Errol Flynn running around in tights. He's a rather dark and brooding Robin who's bent on revenge, but he does have his famous droll wit, which the Sheriff of Nottingham (and Lady Merrion) do not find at all humorous at times. Plus I've added some twists concerning the traditional Robin Hood story, and have made his merry men my own ( I do have a literary license after all. *grin*). And as this is an erotic romance, Robin has some passionate encounters with his leading lady, Merrion---who is being hunted down for the murder of her husband, Hubert, Guy de Gisbourne's brother.
Passion, murder, and mayhem... Oh My!
I hope to post more about this and other stories in the near future.
So come on in, grab yourself a cup of joe, and spend some time with me.
Ingela
