Her name is Karen Watson a high level executive’s wife who is bored with the grinding charity events, dinner parties, and the list goes on. One afternoon while meeting with her girlfriend at the Capital Hill Country club she noticed a hot young man that kept checking her out. She has seen him around before and out on the golf course when she was waiting to Tee off and here at the bar.

Chapter 1 - The Apple of my eye
"My God Carol I think he's checking me out." Karen whispered to her best friend.

"What?" Carol asked.

"That cute guy that we see around the club, over there, look." Carol glanced over his way trying not to look obvious.

"I think he is. Boy what would I give to get some of that?" Carol said smiling as she took a sip of her Chardonnay.

"Noooo, I wouldn't dare Carol. Besides I'm too old for him."

"It doesn't look like it matters to him. Besides, what's wrong with a little extra sugar every now and then." Carol smiled looking at him again.

“Carol!” said Karen looking shocked and thankful for her honesty at the same time.

“Look, you’re good looking for a forty something. I won’t tell him if you don’t. You are as bored as I am with all of the dinner parties and crap we get dragged to week in and week out. I mean really, when was the last time you let your hair down and had some fun? And I don’t mean last week in the Hamptons . That was just another boring ‘look at me, look at me’ party.” Carol said signaling for another Chardonnay.

“Well I guess you’re right. But…”

“But nothin’, I won’t tell anybody.” Carol said holding her hand.

“What would I do without my best friend to talk to about this kind of stuff.”

“Well you want to know a little secret?” Carol said leaning close to Karen.

“What?” Karen asked with a puzzled look on her face

“Well, I’ve got me some ‘extra sugar on the side’.” Carol said ginning ear to ear relieved to finally let someone else know. Karen was stunned. She would have never guest Carol her best friend since she came to Capital Hill twelve years ago.

“Get out! Are you kidding me?” Karen gasped.

“I kid you not, his name his Roger.”

“You don’t mean Roger the tennis instructor over at the SugarBay
resort.”

“O’ yeah and mama like!” giggled Carol.

“Carol, now tell me you are joking”

“Remember last Wednesday afternoon when you called and you left me a voice mail?”

“Yeah”

“Well, I was getting some sugar and I mean some good sugar. He banged the hell out me.”

“Carol?”

“What, you mean to tell me that you asked me to check and see if he was looking at you because you think he was being inappropriate? I don’t think so.”

“Well”

“Karen, look at me, go-for-it. Okay, go for it. Stop looking in the window at the candy and go get some.”

Karen’s heart was pounding ninety to nothing. She ordered another Martini and sipped it down in record time.

“Okay Carol, I’m gonna do it. Shit he’s so hot lookin’. I’m so thankful when I look at the tee sheet and see we get to follow him on the first tee box.”

“I’ve noticed the way you rush in to the club house and ask to see the tee sheet. I knew something was up.” Said Carol smiling sipping her Chardonnay.

“Well I’ve never felt like this before much less thought about doin’ anything like this. Hell, I’m married”.

“And what does that have to do with the price of the sugar?”

“O’ my God Carol he’s coming over here. Shit, shit, shit.”

“Calm down. You’ll know what to say by time he gets here. Besides I got your back.”
