    Typing Very Compact and portable

This one reads just about anything. The screen is small so there are alot of page turns, but the calendar feature and all the other Palm Pilot goodies make this one worthwhile. It does need to be recharged fairly frequently, but charges quickly. I have the first generation, the newer ones are probably better.

I read on mine. Again an early version, but yeah having an eReader that fits in my briefcase, has my calender, has documents I can add and subtract to (like Agreed Medical Examiner lists and "Money Charts" specific to my field), holds a small photo album to show off the spawn, I can throw movies or music on and play bejewled when I'm really bored works well for me.

Default I have a Palm, too...

...and it's the only portable "reader" I've ever used. I like it just fine, but I had a computer crash and it was the computer with the software that was necessary to hotsync between computer and palm.

Computer has been restored, but I've been unable to get the software reloaded. Grrrrrrr.
