I know this sounds gross, but they're really good. My family loves them.
2 Cups flour
1 Cup milk
6 Tbs Mayonnaise (We use Hellmann's)
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together in bowl until well mixed (there may still be some small lumps, this is okay). Fill greased muffin tin half full with mixture. Put in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden on top. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Yields: 12 biscuits (to make 6 biscuits cut recipe in half)
Notes: Cooking times may vary depending on whether you cook them on convection bake or regular bake. For a convection oven it takes about 20 minutes.
The biscuits come out with their tops just rising above the rim on the cups. If you want to make them bigger add a half a cup more to the flour and milk and one to two tablespoons more of mayo.
Also, you can adjust the mayonnaise to your liking (adding more or less). The directions my mother used for years said 4 Tbs of mayo, but 6 makes them more moist.
