Welcome to Coffeewrite for February 2009. I think this is going to be a really fun experience. I thought I would start off by telling you just a little bit about me, then we'll get right to the story!

I'm Samantha Sommersby. I live in San Diego with my husband and fifteen year old son. I am the author of ten novels and novellas including the soon-to-be-released Forbidden: The Temptation, which is the latest installment in the Forbidden series. In 2007 I left what I used to call my “real life” day job as a psychotherapist to pursue writing and working in the publishing industry full-time. Now I happily spends my days immersed in the world of the Forbidden, a world where vampires, werewolves, and demons are real, love is blind, and where the heroes howl at the moon.

You can find out more about me on my website or on MySpace .

NOTE: This story should be written in the first person point of view. Each and every one of you get to step into the head of Isabella. Come on ladies (and gents) - slide into that lacy lingerie, step into those four inch stilettos, add a spritz of your favorite fragrance and channel your inner sex demon.

Main Characters: Isabella Hart (that's me) and Jackson Grant (the high-school crush that never really went anywhere and I sadly still can't seem to get over).

Here we go...

Everything changes after high school. Friends go their separate ways, time marches on, and we forget who we were, what we used to dream about. Soon everyone is consumed by things like marriage, divorce, kids, career. They long for the good ole days. Not me. I was miserable in high school. I was an average student in an average town. I came from an average family and we lived in an average house. When I left high school for college, I even had a few average goals. I was going to become a teacher. Instead, I became a succubus. But before I tell you that story, I'm going to tell you this story. This is a story about second chances. It's also a story about seduction and sex, because I am a succubus. Mostly, though, it's a story about love. How we all yearn for it. How we all dream about it. And how finding it feels, well, magic.

So, it starts with my arriving in Hollis, New Hampshire for my twentieth high school reunion...
