    Default Fun Party Idea

Last week I attended a party a friend threw for herself for her own birthday. It was for women only. We all brought snacks and she provided pizza. We had a Jane Austen marathon! We watched P&P, Mansfield Park, and then Emma. It was so much fun. I didn't get home until almost 2 am but I was ready to hunt down some new Regencies reads!

There were only so many hours! I love Persuasion though. One of my favorite film adaptations of Jane's work--BBC version. Last year's remake of S&S, I thought, was fantastic. That Willoughby is a rascal!

My favorite adaptation of Persuasion is with Amanda Root. It's the one that is truest to Austen's book. The last remake of S&S was definitely hot, but I prefer the adaptation with Emma Thompson. Of course, I have to see them all and I love almost all of them.
