Anksha is a demon-eater who dines on flesh, blood, lives, and also works magic. She binds her slaves to her through a dominance-link and uses them for her pleasure, whether to drink their entire mind, use them for sex, or just for her pleasure in anything. She is a sadistic blood-drinking beast.

Isranon, a young necromancer, has been taken by a bloodthirsty beast named Anksha. He must choose between his dead father’s teachings of pacifism and his lycan mentor’s warrior beliefs to survive. In a brutal world of vampires, blood-drinking sa’necari necromancers, and demons, Isranon must find the key to Anksha’s inner nature, while escaping the snares set for him by both vampires and his own kind.

This book takes you to a world filled with vampires, necromancers, and the demon- eaters! You can almost feel the intensity of the characters and what pain they endure with their battles between good and evil. A profound, chilling, thought-provoking dark fantasy that takes you into a world of vicious bloodthirsty vampires who will stop at nothing to get what they are after. There were times that I wished I could have jumped through the pages and help those who were suffering. The writing is fantastic as you read about all the different creatures.

Ms. Frank's Blood Rites depicts a world where vampires battle necromancers, and for humans, being drained only of their blood is considered lucky. Anksha is truly a sadistic creature I hope I never have the pleasure in meeting in person. This book is great read. It is a battle for power between dark and light forces. If you are into vampires and dark stories of fantasy, I would recommend reading this book. It will hold you breathless.
