Annja Creed is observing findings at an archaeological dig at the ancient library at Alexandria. Much of the artifacts have been destroyed, but a few rare scrolls have been discovered which have the potential of being extremely important. They may unlock the mystery of the lost city of Atlantis.

Jadzia, a genius when it comes to ancient languages, may be the only person who can translate the scrolls. When unknown men attack the personnel at the dig, Jadzia and Annja are the only ones who escape.

Together, the two women must protect the scrolls while being relentlessly pursued by ferocious killers. Soon they discover that a major oil company does not want the secret of the scrolls to get out and will stop at nothing to keep the world from discovering the power they contain. Fortunately, Annja is a force to be reckoned with and uses her supernatural abilities to keep them alive.

Alex Archer has created the ultimate superheroine in Annja Creed. She is a strong, kick-butt chick. Beautiful, but certainly not just a pretty face, Annja exudes loads of personality as well as empathy. Rogue Angel: The Lost Scrolls is enormously entertaining. This novel is one big roller coaster ride where the thrills continue to the very last page.
