Opal Smith feels like an oddball in a family of psychics. When she sees a body fall over an overpass, the sudden urge of being able to see a vision thrills her, until she encounters the guy that rear-ended her and thinks she is a bit weird.

Jack Davis is a bit irritated when his air bag goes off and he faces the woman responsible. When she confesses about seeing the body, that no one else saw, he is pretty sure she is nuts.

Opal had no idea one little fender bender would open up a mirage of events in her life after meeting Jack. Not only is he tall, dark, and handsome, her Grandma Blue believes Jack is the reincarnation of a racecar driver by the name of ‘Dynamite Davis,’ and she intends to verify that her assumptions are correct. When Opal goes to question Jack about her Grandma’s findings, things begin to heat up. Jack has a construction project that he must finish, but when Opal approaches with some weird inclination about reincarnation, he can only laugh. He already believes she is cuckoo after that little car accident, and still no one has found a body. With a herd of obstacles crossing their path, the two slowly find a way into each other's heart while tying to unlock many unanswered questions.

Sheer Dynamite certainly lives up to its title. I loved the characters of Opal and Jack. The dialogue between the two is stupendous. The blending in of Grandma Blue really adds some dimension to the storyline. The secondary characters spin some great creativity. Ms. Skully pens an incredible tale filled with excitement, on the edge of the seat entertainment, and a story that is just plumb great! This reader found this to be one excellent page-turner.
