Maggie Conlin has much on her plate since her husband’s visit to Iraq. Their son, Logan, prays they will get back together, but Maggie cannot make that promise. When Logan is swiftly taken from her, she pulls out every stop to find him.

Royal Canadian Police Corporal Daniel Graham is on vacation from the Mounties when he discovers an injured young girl that needs help. Not long afterwards he comes to Maggie’s rescue when she accidentally takes an overdose.

Logan wants his parents back together, but that may not be easy, especially after Maggie learns Logan is missing. It seems his father, Jake, picked him up from school without Maggie’s knowing. Since Jake’s contractor job took him to Iraq, Jake has been troubled. Now Maggie has only one goal -- to locate her son. While trying to cover every step to find Logan, Maggie suffers an overdose, and Daniel comes to her rescue. Maggie is able to confide in Daniel as they continue the search. Jake is sharing a place with a nurse who saved him in Iraq. Samara Ingram was there during the rough times. She has endured her own ordeal with her family problems, and now with the Pope’s upcoming visit, she has been told things are more promising once he arrives. Two women, on a mission, who will suffer the greater sacrifice once everything is activated?

Could this story be any more thrilling? With the cast of spectacular characters, this reader was spellbound from beginning to end trying to see how all the loose ends would finally tie up. I cringed every time Maggie was searching for her son. I could feel the hopelessness that aches in her heart to find her child. Every character was pulsating in this heated roller-coaster ride. Rick Mofina creates an outstanding read that mesmerizes. Incredible dialogue, a star-studded cast and a plot that overwhelms, I was spellbound by Six Seconds. Hold onto your seats, this is going to be a twister of a read!
