Chris Turner has no intention of getting involved with anyone seriously ever again, because he was betrayed by a previous lover. He does not count on meeting Jazz, or that Jazz will change his life by loving him and teaching him to trust again.

Like Chris, Jazz Stone has been hurt by love in the past; but unlike Chris, he is willing to give love another chance. Honest to a fault, Jazz takes each of Chris’ issues and deals with them one by one with love and trust.

Jazz and Chris have a committed relationship that they hope will be permanent when Richard, Jazz’s ex, returns. As uncomfortable as Chris is with the very idea of Richard, he tries for Jazz’s sake to accept Richard. It is not long before the three become very close. When Jazz is in a motorcycle accident that puts him in a coma, Chris and Richard are beside themselves. As the months go by, no one knows if Jazz will ever wake up.

Sleeping Stone is one of the most poignantly romantic love stories that I have read. While these men each have their flaws, they somehow balance each other out. This is a deeply emotional read that gives you a complete look into the hearts and souls of each of these men. The sex scenes are highly erotic, but with a lot of love mixed in which made them ones to be savored. Ms. Stone’s understanding of all the characters' personalities, including the secondary ones, lends to the realism. Each character is so well written this story flows smoothly and without even one catch. If you enjoy stories with a lot of love, emotion, and realism, and do not mind the gay ménage element, this is one book you have to read!
