There comes a time in life when a young girl often carries thoughts of being a princess, a Queen or even having the life of a goddess. In today’s growing society, with no extra time to spare, there is a shopper’s guide to help the woman in her daily life. Women, everywhere, are always on the go with demands that keep them so active, they almost need a fast-stop and shop, like fast food to hurry in and hurry out. It would be nice to have something at the fingertips to direct the individual to exactly the best secret to undercover a great buy or jumpstart any crisis. The Goddess Guide takes that first step.

The author expresses much on fashion, even mentioning times at home with her siblings. Her mum was up on style and dressed them well each day, even to feed the cows on the farm. From the love of shopping for shoes with that new smell, to different shoe sizes that never fit, this book explains shopping to the uninitiated. Everyone at one time or another gets stains hard to remove from shoes, this book carries many remedies. And finding the matching handbag, the list is never-ending, with styles and fabrics to match. There is even a section on all the different hosiery, buying the right size tights, and the perfect lingerie, with bras and thongs galore.

Further into Ms. Gisèle’s research, she expresses points on choosing coats, denims, and anything from any well-known fashion designer. She has taken her time to test and research everything in her book, as she explores the breathtaking smile, to make-up in minutes, hiding wrinkles, stretch marks, spider veins; the list continues. She even enlists help for the traveler. This informative book is absolutely incredible. From the kitchen, to the bedroom, to doing laundry, and gardening, this is a showstopper. From spuds, to steak, to sinful chocolate, and afternoon tea, there is a bit of something for everyone.

The Goddess Guide is loaded with so many steps that it is hard to pin-point just one, or even name them all. This totally diverse book truly amazed me. The outside, with the touch of velvet, and the coloration, to open up the inside to discover the colorful collage throughout every page, with picture after picture, is the most impressible random collections I have seen. Ms. Gisèle gives the author tips on drinks, dancing, tipping and even camping. The section of food is pretty nice, too, with fantastic tips, and Heston’s Popping Chocolate Cake is a tempting recipe. From choosing wine, to a date in the park for a picnic, down to the gift buying and wrapping for Christmas, this book is more than extraordinary. I loved the section on Miss Piggy and Kermit. From the fashion designers all over, rest the feet, pull up a chair, and bathe in the luxury of every page that Gisèle Scanlon offers.
