Lauren is angry and hurt when she shows up at her best friend Eric’s door. She caught her boyfriend having sex with another woman that afternoon and she needs comfort and revenge. Eric immediately comes to mind, especially since that hot kiss they shared on the Fourth of July.

Eric cannot believe his best friend is standing at his door asking for sex. Of course he will not turn her down, especially since he wants to keep her in his bed and life forever. The only problem is doing that without ruining their friendship.

Two best friends have the potential to become much much more, if they can only communicate those wishes to each other instead of acting on their very strong attraction. Eric wants to be more than just Lauren’s rebound guy. Eric and Lauren have a problem the morning after. Each of them wants to continue what happened the night before, but they do not know how to without ruining the best friendship that either has ever had. They soon come to realize that best friends make the best lovers.

This story’s love scenes are very well done. I loved Eric and Lauren and the girlfriends were great. I especially enjoyed seeing the slimy ex’s failure when he tries to talk himself back into Lauren’s life. This is a thoroughly enjoyable story. There are a few twists and turns that the reader will enjoy.
