Jesa comes from a family of werewolves. While women do not go through the change to shift into a wolf, once her father does when she is young, he becomes cruel. Now he is threatening to arrange a marriage for her and Jesa wants none of it, so she sets up a date with the dating service 1 Night Stand.

David also comes from a family of werewolves and has suffered the change into one. He has lost his self-confidence when it comes to women as a result. However, his sister wants him to be happy and sets him up with Jesa with the dating service’s help.

Jesa is less than enthused when David’s sister suggests she pretend to be someone else. In fact, she wants Jesa to pretend to be her best friend from college. Jesa is worried she will not be able to pull off the ruse, but David’s sister is so nice she agrees. However, it is not long before David realizes that Jesa is not who she claims, and there is something else, something about each of them that the other immediately recognizes. Will this couple take a chance, or will their fears keep them from moving forward?

Back in the Saddle is a delightful story about love found in a place where neither person thought it really could be. The love scene is highly erotic, though it does happen rather quickly in the relationship, however, given the subject matter that is not so unsurprising. Ms. Monroe definitely has the workings for a very interesting world of werewolves that I would definitely like to learn more about. If you enjoy paranormal romance as much as I do, then pick up a copy of Back in the Saddle, you will enjoy it!
