Jack Contino has been a cop for quite awhile. He works for the Metropolitan District Commission Police Department, often working with the FBI to bring down the criminal element. The newest case he deals with is a mass killing that smells of the mob.

Ben Secani learned from a young age how to make easy money as well as kill. He even has a "business deal" with Maria, a friend he grew up with. She is a college student during the week, but a high price call girl on the weekends, and shares what she makes with Ben.

With the recent killings, the MET and FBI need to tread carefully in order to catch those responsible. Jack, Ben, and Maria's lives are all going to interchange and the future is uncertain for them all.

Bad guys and good guys make up this story that entertains and keep the mystery moving onward. I enjoyed the characters, as they were well played out. The only drawback was sometimes keeping straight all the characters when so many were involved in a scene. However, overall I enjoyed the underhanded dealings of the Boston Mob.
