Sheikh Ashmit bin Sultan al Nashan is sent on a mission to retrieve the Englishman and bring him to the palace. He is expected to return posthaste as his wedding is fast approaching.

Russ Edwards was captured, tied-up, and beaten by the desert people. Being rescued by the mysterious Ashmit had his circumstances going from dire to desire in a heartbeat.

Ashmit is supposed to stay pure until he can consummate the marriage with his intended bride, but being in the desert with the sexy Englishman makes that impossible. Russ is determined to show Ashmit his gratitude and he seduces his savior time and again. But once they get back to the palace he knows he will have to say goodbye to the sexy Sheikh as well as to his heart, which was lost the first time he looked into Ashmit’s violet eyes. Is there any way that Ashmit and Russ can have their happily ever after?

Desert Nights had some saucy and sexy moments in the pages. However, there were quite a few areas that I found myself stumbling through. Some of the terminology used to describe a number of the sex scenes went past raunchy and right into disgusting. Not all of the illustrative words meshed with the sentence structure that was used. Ms. Bernetti has written a tale that could have been quite hot but instead it left me lukewarm due to the phrasing issues.
