Cassie Miller is on her way to get an exclusive news story with a secluded artist on a remote island. Unfortunately what she finds is an egotistical tennis champion. She dislikes being around any men since her ex-husband’s wandering eye and hands ended their marriage.

Filippo Fernandez is a famous tennis player. His father wishes him do to an interview for endorsements but Filippo just wants to play tennis, not sell razors. He wishes to spend some time alone on the island.

Cassie has used all her funds to travel for an elite interview only to have her spirits dampened. Filippo is a conceited tennis player who gets on her last nerve. Now on an island in a threatening storm she leaves the leaky guesthouse and joins Filippo in his villa. Filippo assures her that she will be safer in his villa. Cassie wonders about that once they are alone. With the intense storm flashing outside, they seem to be drawn into a heated passion. Cassie has sworn off men and Filippo has a fiancée Gloria, someone who craves his lifestyle. After they spend time together, Cassie realizes Filippo is the man she desires and Filippo discovers his love for Cassie but he must break it off with Gloria. Filippo has issues with his father that must be dealt. The two must decide where the dept of their love really lies.

Game, Set, Love-Match is most refreshing. Cassie and Filippo are enchanting characters that have lost in their life and are trying to mend their hearts. They get off to a rocky start then end up discovering something lovely. Ms. Dobbs paints a story that stops at nothing to find that one dream for life everlasting. She pens a pleasant read. This is one tennis match that is quite enjoyable.
