Georgie is an almost licensed pharmacist working in her home town. She is very attractive, but a bad romance has made her shy of commitment. Her older brother makes a love life impossible.

Walt has come home after a broken engagement. He is surfer handsome and very confident with women and a bit of a smart alec. He is hoping to settle down in the little beach town.

Georgie’s brother Brad is making it impossible for her to have a love life. He even arranged for her last date to be arrested. To get even and to get him a life, she enters him in a contest to win a date with a TV star, but confusingly she wins. Walt is moving home after the death of his father. He will be his Uncle Al’s new partner in the pharmacy and will be staying with Brad and Georgie. Georgie is not looking forward to this; Walt was almost as big a pain in the butt as Brad. Both of them have grown up however, and an immediate attraction is felt. They are just not sure what to do about it.

I really enjoyed this one. Both Walt and Georgie have been burnt by love and are understandably reluctant to try again. The contest for a date with Clay adds an entertaining complication to the budding romance. The setting of a small seaside town and the entertaining cast of characters make this story a perfect one to while away a couple of hours.
