The Slater house carries many secrets and Melanie’s newly discovered grandfather would like for her to stay on and learn more about the family she never knew. With her mother in possible danger, and Melanie also possibly falling prey, she finds herself trusting in Ross. He wants to help her flee a tragic past, while sharing a future with her that is filled with new memories.
Slater House is a book filled with interesting characters, crisp dialogue, and back-biting action. Melanie is a great heroine exhibiting a wide range of emotions after learning past secrets her mother hoped to stay buried. Ms. Rosemoor pens a tale that takes center stage with vibrant characters, imagery that sparkles through the pages, and entertainment at its best when Melanie visits Slater house. Her remarkable style of writing makes this book a page-turner. This reader could practically feel the intensity that spins through all the characters as twist and turns abundantly flowed in this superb tale. This is a wonderful read.
