THE CHOSEN Prince Severin of Arcathia is supposed to marry and produce heirs. Too bad he is more attracted to men and has no sexual feelings for women. Havyn is an orphan and has been a slave for as long as he can remember. When he is sold once again, he only hopes that his new owner will not be as cruel as some. Severin feels an instant attraction to Havyn, the slave he has just freed. When Havyn is recognized as a wizard, he is told he cannot have any sexual gratification of any kind. Will Havyn find out where his origins are, and will Severin give up everything for love or be true to his kingdom? The Chosen is a sweet journey where two men will discover how their lives will affect destiny. Ms. Gisby uses a fantastic world that has all of the castes and prejudices found within our real world. The way Severin and Havyn fight their attraction even as each of them continue to crave each other was heartbreaking. This was a really good novel, one that I thoroughly enjoyed reading and remember for quite some time. Danielle
